Your animation production needs to be of a certain minimum scale to benefit from our services.

Even though the pricing of HoBSoft and the reduced production cost differs greatly from one production to another there are some trends.

HoBSoft cost optimization is generally more effective on multi studio feature film productions with budgets of €3,000,000 or above, but can also generate large savings on single studio productions.

The graph shows how we easily can save more than we charge on productions with budgets of more than 3 million Euros. The red arrow shows an example of how a €8M production can save €1200K by hiring HoBSoft at a cost of €180K. The reduced cost is €1200K - €180K = €1020K.

Recouping your investment

In order to gain the full potential of savings, you must ensure that your sub contractors are not charging you for the same work that HoBSoft will be doing for you automatically.

This is why we strongly advise that you consult HoBSoft early in the planning phase.

We will help you get the optimal work split and we will assist in developing technical specifications to be integrated in the contracts between you and your partners or sub contractors.
